Hailing from NY, Bill Borgida is one of the strongest forces in the world of Lindy and has taught many of today's upcoming greats. His strong foundations of musicality and connection are well known through out the Lindy World. Bill has presented workshops across the US, Canada, Sweden, Singapore, France, Finland, London and Australia.
Bill has been dancing, teaching swing dance and coaching performance troupes since 1985. He has taught throughout the US and all over the world, including Sweden, Singapore, Japan, France, Finland, Australia, Holland and England, including Herr”ng Dance Camp in Sweden, SONH, Beantown, the American Lindy Hop Championships, and the North Atlantic Dance Championships. He also judges regularly at national competitions. In 1997 he took 1st place in the Lindy Hop Jack and Jill division at The American Swing Dance Championships, and in 1998 the troupe of teen-age dancers who had been studying with Bill took 1st place in the team division at The American Lindy Hop Championships.
