Paul and Sharon
Paul Overton and Sharon Ashe have influenced thousands of Lindy Hoppers worldwide. They spent years helping to build the San Francisco swing scene to one of the largest lindy communities in the country. Paul and Sharon are back for one weekend only with their usual great moves, taught with a focus on connection between partners and with the music.
Paul and Sharon have been teaching and performing Lindy Hop in the Bay Area and around the globe since 1996. In that time they have built an extremely successful swing dance program based on their unique and effective style of teaching and have toured the U.S. and Europe spreading the joy of Lindy Hop. In San Francisco Paul and Sharon regularly taught over two-hundred students per month and created one of the largest weekly dance parties in town called the 9:20 Special. They have had the good fortune to teach and perform at some of the biggest and most well respected dance camps in the world including Swing Camp Catalina, Swing Out New Hampshire, and Herrang Dance Camp in Sweden. Recently, they moved to Durham, North Carolina where they live happily with their dogs, Boyd and Pete.
